  Confused... you really show an incredible amount of restraint... I would have blown up after his bit about Jehovah holding back the winds of discipline so you can fork over some money while still remaining in an un-disfellowshipped state.... wtf?

  so i was poking around jw.org a lil recently...... noticed this advertisement was still present in the 'privileged' section (ie you gotta have login access).

  this was posted on jw.org a little over a year ago (as shown in pic) but since it is still viewable......figured it is fair-game for jwn fodder.

  why are there so many other planets?.

  heard this today from a good source.

  my guess everybody is delaying leaving the service meeting - and this is an attempt to fix this.. that's what i see in our service groups - no one is in any rush to go out (again).

  In my area there were 2 extremely old and frail ministerial servants who would defer to a pioneer sister (who was willing to place a paper napkin on her head) to do the daily text (from Mon thruogh Friday)... then, they would simply do the prayer and divide the group... On the weekends, the elders would then take over from A to Z...

  I really thought this was just an isolated anomoly in my congo... But maybe this was happening a lot more frequently than I thought at other congos...

  what is the main party line proclaimed in the publications?

  as most of us know, the society is spending 10's of millions of dollars on a giant, state of the art, secluded bunker country club headquarters in very remote, isolated warwick ny.. the question that "some" have is, why?

  if armageddon is coming "very soon", why go to all that time & effort & expense?

  why have thousands of jws dedicating their time to this massive effort instead of the "lifesaving ministry"?.

  in the program a wife tried unsuccessfully to kill her husband.

  i remarked to my wife "if you ever did that i would divorce you!

  Also... If you come home early one day and catch your wife having sex with another woman or the family pet, that is NOT Spiritual Grounds for Divorce either...

  Watchtower October 1, 1956 Page 591 paragraph 20:

  Sodomy (or the unnatural intercourse of one male with another male as with a female), Lesbianism (or the homosexual relations between women), and bestiality (or the unnatural sexual relations by man or woman with an animal) are not Scriptural grounds for divorce. They are filthy, they are unclean, and God’s law to Israel condemned to death those committing such misdeeds, thus drastically putting these out of God’s congregation. But such acts are not adultery with the opposite sex, making the unclean person one flesh with another of the opposite sex. (Rom. 1:26-32) Yet there is a penalty of disfellowshiping attached to them.

  i left a message that said everytime there's an article about jws in the news, all the dubs usually come out of the woodwork and leave their messages, but now there seems to be only a 5 messages.
